Cumbria shootings: The victims named

Twelve people were killed when taxi driver Derrick Bird went on a shooting spree in west Cumbria yesterday.
The victims were:
Garry Purdham, 31, a farmer: shot dead outside The Red Admiral Hotel at Boonwood, near Gosforth. Married with two children, boys, aged nine and four
Kevin Commons, 60, of Frizington: a solicitor, he was shot dead on the driveway of his home at Mowbray Farm
Digger driver David Bird, 52, of High Trees, Lamplugh: gunman Derrick Bird's twin brother. Found dead in bed. Cause of death currently unknown
Jamie Clark, 23: he was driving near Seascale when Bird opened fire. An estate agent, he had only moved from Buckinghamshire to Carlisle last year to live with his fiancée
Susan Hughes, of Seascale: killed on the street while carrying shopping
Jennifer and Jimmy Jackson, of Wilton: shot dead in their garden at The Ridding
Darren Rewcastle, of Bigrigg: a taxi driver, he is believed to have been the first killed
Jane Robinson, 66, of Seascale: shot dead in Drigg Road, Seascale, just yards from the home she shared with her twin sister, Barrie
Mike Pike, 64, of Seascale: shot dead in Seascale while riding his bicycle. Grandad of three and formerly a trade union organiser at Sellafield
Kenneth Fishburn: a retired security worker at the nearby Sellafield nuclear plant, he was shot dead in Egremont
Ike Dixon, of Egremont: shot at Carleton Moor Wood, on the edge of Egremont
Derrick Bird later killed himself. His body was found in a wood at Boot, Eskdale.
