Aspatria and District First Responders, who as the name suggests are often first on the scene of a medical emergency and are trained to give limited medical attention until a Doctor or paramedic team arrive when they stand back and possibly having saved a life leave the professionals to finsh off, are as always looking for new members to join their 16 strong band of volunteers. until recently one a new already trained member joined there were ony 7 trained for call outs
New members are always welcome to go to a meeting and see what it is all about, the meeting nights varey so that if you cannot come on one night of rthe week you should be able to attend the next month.
Feel free to come to Beacon Hill School at 7.30 on the night (dates are in the what's on section) or Tel Marie Rose on Asp 21230
