COMING off the back of last weekend’s Kendal Mountain Festival, the Brewery Arts Centre is hosting three exhibitions of stunning mountain art.

The Sugar Store gallery is hosting an exhibition of landscape mountain paintings by Lucy Dunnett, a British artist who lives and works in Switzerland, and the exhibition includes paintings inspired by the 360-degree view from the top of Mont Fort in the Swiss Alps.

The walls of the Warehouse Café have been given over to the work of BBC photographer and filmmaker Dina Mufti. The exhibition is entitled What Happens in Between, and is made up of photographs of people she met while working on the BBC’s Human Planet programme in the Himalayas.

Meanwhile, on display in the Intro Bar is the work of Keswick-based landscape photographer Stuart Holmes, whose images of mountain travel and adventure sports have been extensively published in a wide variety of magazines and publications.

All of the exhibitions will be on display until Sunday January 8.
