DEAF karate student William A Robertson, of Gosforth, has gained his 2nd Dan black belt at the Hokushinko Martial Arts Academy.
GRADING: Deaf karate student William A Robertson (pictured right), of Gosforth, had just gained his 2nd Dan black belt at the Hokushinko Martial Arts Academy. He is pictured with instructor Mark Hodgson, who is delighted with his student.He said: “He was very impressive in his grading and it is hard because he has some health problems and I didn’t make it any easier for him. But I am really pleased with him.”
